Clinic Booking System
CBS Version 1.09
Version 1.09 of the Clinic Booking System has been released. It is a major feature upgrade from version 1.0. The Windows version is now 50% smaller also!
Feature Summary
In addition to all the functionality of 1.0, the 1.09 has the following features.
- User Authentication
Users must log in to the system before they are able to access it.
- User Authorisation
Users are only able to access those parts of the system that the administrator wants them to have access to.
- iCalendar Interface
Each clinician now has an iCalendar interface. This allows them to use calendar applications like Microsoft Outlook 2007 or Mozilla Sunbird to view an up to date schedule.
- Recurring Sessions
It is now possible to easily create many sessions (weekly, daily, monthly) from one form.
- Sessions Types
Each session can now have a type (eg New Assessment, Review) to aid with booking clients into the correct sessions.
- Reschedule an entire day
If a clinician changes the day they are available, you can move all the sessions and bookings from one day to another at once.
- Audit Trail
Optional. Allows administrators to track changes
to the data.
- And many other minor improvements!
The future of CBS
This release is a precursor to the 1.1 release which will add a number of functions including:
- Searching for clients
- Group Sessions (multiple client bookings to a session)
- Joint Sessions (multiple clinicians to a session)
There will be an upgrade patch released to migrate from version 1.09 to 1.10.
